Two Collections of Handcrafted Jewelry by an Oregon Artisan.

Most of my Columbia Basin Jewelry collection  is made with jasper, agate, and fossil beads from Oregon and the Western USA, because I love living here and I think that wearing indigenous rocks connect us to a place.  However, if something else catches my magpie-eye, I do not hesitate to use it. It’s all home ground, really.

The M.G. Magpie collection ranges farther afield:  an international collection of  lovely stones, shells, bone beads, semiprecious gems, silver, freshwater pearls, wood, copper, and beautiful colorful glass.  Anything bright and stringable that I like, caught up in designs that I’ve learned from patterns in nature, junkyards, and human history.
